Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MaxForm, including our website, iOS application, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MaxForm. If you are under 18, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

2. Your account

You sign in using Sign in with Apple. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your device and Apple ID secure. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. The Service

MaxForm gives you a trackable score across Appearance and Presence, based on a face scan, self-reported check-ins, and other inputs you provide. MaxForm is a self-improvement and tracking tool. It does not provide medical, psychological, dermatological, or other health advice, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Your Form Score is directional and subjective by nature — treat it as feedback, not a diagnosis.

4. Your wellbeing

Tracking and comparing your appearance can affect some people's mood, self-esteem, or body image, especially with repeated use. MaxForm is not a mental health service, and your Form Score, streaks, and rankings are not a measure of your worth. You're responsible for deciding whether and how to use features like scanning, comparisons, and rankings, and you can hide your score, disable comparisons, or delete your account at any time in Settings.

If using MaxForm — or anything else — is affecting your mental health, please stop and reach out for support. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) at any time. Outside the U.S., the International Association for Suicide Prevention maintains a directory of crisis centers at iasp.info/resources/Crisis_Centres.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MaxForm, its founders, employees, and contractors are not liable for emotional distress, anxiety, depression, self-harm, or other psychological or physical harm alleged to result from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including harm you attribute to your Form Score, rankings, comparisons, or content shown to you. This limitation does not extend to harm caused by our gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violation of applicable law.

5. Beta access

MaxForm is currently distributed through Apple TestFlight as a beta. Beta builds may be unstable, may change without notice, and may stop working when a build expires or beta access ends. Features described on our website may change before general release.

6. Subscriptions — MaxForm Plus

MaxForm Plus is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms. Pricing, billing cycle, cancellation, and refund requests for subscriptions are handled through your Apple ID account settings.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload photos or content that aren't of you, or that you don't have the right to share
• Use the Service to harass, impersonate, or misrepresent yourself to others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its scoring systems
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law

8. Content you provide

You retain ownership of the photos, scans, and other content you submit. You grant MaxForm a limited license to use that content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Rankings and social features

Rankings, streaks, and comparisons with friends are based on the data you and other users choose to share. You can control visibility of your profile and score in the app's settings.

10. Termination

You can stop using MaxForm and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MaxForm is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions you make based on your Form Score. See Section 4 for our specific disclaimer regarding emotional and psychological harm.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
